Ministerial Visit

Huw Lewis 12022015Thank you to Huw Lewis, Minister for Education, for visiting us today. He met with staff, governors and pupils. He visited some lessons and took part in literacy and numeracy activities with our Year Eight pupils. He was very knowledgeable about the school commenting on our 'Green School' status as well as our excellent results at all key stages. We are very pleased that the Minister has taken such an interest in what we have achieved.

Sixth Form Information Evenings

collegeImportant forthcoming dates for Year 11 pupils wishing to join us for Sixth Form studies:

15th January 2015, 6-7pm- 'Sixth Form Transition Information Evening' at Cardinal Newman School. This is an information evening for parents to receive information on the transition process and to ask any questions.

21st January 2015, 4-6pm- 'Sixth Form Open Evening' at the Nantgarw site. This is an evening for pupils and parents. It is an opportunity to visit the site and talk to the staff who will be teaching the individual subjects
