MFL Conference 2016

 

On Tuesday 29th Nov, we were invited to attend the MFL conference in Cardiff City Stadium.

This was a prestigious 2 day event, which brought together nearly 400 pupils from over 25 schools across South Wales.

The focus was to show the range of opportunities that studying a language at GCSE can bring, as well as the sought after skills it develops.

RCT 12 days of Christmas Attendance Incentive 2016

Attendance2014RCT are launching an attendance challenge for all pupils in Years 7 - 11. All pupils achieving 100% attendance for the eleven days of school during December will be entered in a draw to win cinema vouchers.

Art Competition Christmas 2016

Art competition 2016The Art Department are running a Key Stage 3 Art Competition. To enter: Produce a piece of art using any medium, with a Christmas theme on A4 paper and hand to Mrs Gough by the 2nd December.

 

School Open

SchoolDespite some stories in the press, the school did suffer some minor flooding, but remained open. The flooding occurred due to an internal drain in a store cupboard being overwhelmed in a deluge this afternoon. No lessons were affected and the problem quickly brought under control with no lasting damage. The school will be open as normal for all staff and pupils tomorrow.

 

 

Record of Achievement Evening 2016
