Design & Technology

The Design and Technology Department provides a 21st Century experience of state of the art designing and manufacturing. Our facilities include an extensive modern CAD, CAM and CNC area including an A2 Laser Cutter.

All students have the opportunity to undertake problems solving activities supported by specific software systems for modelling and prototyping. Products are made using sophisticated machinery, often controlled by a computer. This results in highly accurate artefacts reflecting industrial standards.
