MFL Conference

On Tuesday 29th Nov, we were invited to attend the MFL conference in Cardiff City Stadium. This was a prestigious 2 day event, which brought together nearly 400 pupils from over 25 schools across South Wales. The focus was to show the range of opportunities that studying a language at GCSE can bring, as well as the sought after skills it develops.

Our 15 pupils were given the opportunity to take part in a talk from a GE engineer, a quiz from the Spanish Embassy and an Italian workshop by Treorchy Comprehensive. We were also given an extensive tour of the stadium.

The day was brought to a close with a treasure hunt. Congratulations to Melany Benedict for winning the Italian competition!
